Your Role

•     Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for custom climatic chambers.

•     Select, specify, and validate electrical components for integration into new and existing systems.

•     Develop R&D projects for cutting-edge, technologically advanced equipment.

•     Work closely with the other engineering areas and with the company's other departments such as the factory and the sales team — to meet customer requirements.

•     Prepare detailed manufacturing instructions and technical documentation.

•     Provide technical support to production and installation teams, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.

•     Commission climatic chambers at customer sites worldwide, ensuring systems perform to specification from day one — willingness to travel is essential.

•     Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on electrical design standards and processes.

About You

•     Bachelor's or Master's in Electrotechnical Engineering.

•     5+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally in industrial equipment or similar engineered-to-order environments.

•     Natural ownership mentality — you don't wait for instructions, you identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.

•     A well-rounded engineer — equally comfortable doing design and project work as rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on among the machines.

•     Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, power distribution, and control circuits.

•     Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).

•     Understanding of automation fundamentals (PLCs, sensors, actuators).

•     Customer-oriented, focused on understanding and delivering on client requirements.

•     Detail-oriented with a structured and methodical approach.

•     Portuguese required; proficient in English.
