Your Role
• Design and develop mechanical assemblies and components for climatic chambers using 3D and 2D CAD (SolidWorks).
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, BoMs, and design specifications.
• Develop high-end R&D projects with a multidisciplinary mindset, bridging mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems to drive innovation across the product range.
• Work closely with the other engineering areas and with the company's other departments such as the factory and the sales team to meet customer requirements.
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring designs meet functional, dimensional, and quality specifications.
About You
• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, ideally in industrial equipment or similar engineered-to-order environments.
• Natural ownership mentality. You don't wait for instructions, you identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.
• A full-stack engineer — equally comfortable doing design and project work as rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on among the machines.
• Proficient in SolidWorks (3D and 2D).
• Experience with CAM, FEA, or simulation tools is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, welding, machining, assembly).
• Good understanding of materials selection, structural design, and thermal insulation principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented, focused on understanding and delivering on client requirements.
• Detail-oriented with a structured and methodical approach.
• Portuguese required; proficient in English.
